About Jesse Winton

Jesse Winton is 16 years old and enjoys music, reading, writing, and Christian film, as well as the study of logic and Christian apologetics, the defense of the Christian Worldview, and studying writers and teachers such as Dr. Greg Bahnsen, Voddie Baucham, Ken Ham, and Doug Phillips. Pertaining to Reading

Reading should be an important part of every Christian's life. It is by reading that great men of the faith achieved the intellectual and spiritual knowledge that shaped the Reformation; it is the way that our founding Fathers became who they were, used by God in the founding of our nation, and how today's respected Christian apologists and speakers have gained their knowledge.
Whether it is Scripture, the God-breathed word of God, theological books and worldview formers, or Classic fiction, may we make reading something we do often.

Independent Films

Sadly, statistics have shown that films are more culturally effective than churches are these days. Yet with the absolute trash that Hollywood is putting out, Christians should not be supporting those types of films. However independent Christian films (like those I have listed below) which are very well made and as good as anything from Hollywood encourage and inspire the Christian walk.

For those interested in Christian filmmaking I highly recommend the book "Outside Hollywood" by Isaac Botkin, and his website of the same name that deeply delves into this issue.
